An industry standard for the last decade, the HMS-1600 offers an affordable solution for measuring fume hood face velocity with rapid response rates.
Factory tested and programmed, the Triatek HMS-1600 uses a dedicated face velocity flow sensor input, as well as a second input, for truer readings with a high degree of reliability.
This precision instrument can not only control flow conditions, but also monitor them using patented, ultra-sensitive thermal anemometry. Control of air flow dampers or variable speed drives can be easily achieved after setting up the PID floating control point. The unit may also be simply connected to most any remote monitoring or automation system and perform monitoring functions only. Highly customizable, the HMS-1600 series can be set up to display most any hood parameter or process and has available inputs for sash position sensors.
Other features include:
• Multiple alarms
• RS-485 communications port
• Linear or PID output
• Measures hood face velocity
