FMS-1630L
For building systems using the LON open protocol, room pressure can be monitored and controlled with Triatek’s FMS-1630L. This unit is a precision measuring system for ultra low pressure or flow. Variances as small as 0.0001” WC can be measured with the FMS-1630L and its patented MicroMachined “Though The Wall” Airflow Sensor. Positive Pressure, Negative Pressure, or No Isolation modes are easily selectable and locked using the included key.
Room pressurization conditions can be quickly observed by scanning the easily read LCD display and the LED room status lights which indicate a Normal, Caution, or Alarm room state. Alarms can also be annunciated locally via the unit’s audible alarm and can be transmitted to a remote location or console using its two alarm outputs. If desired, the unit can be set for floating point control simply by programming in PID constants. Parameters are stored in
non-volatile memory to avoid any loss of information during a power outage or disruption.
The unit is available with either one internal or flush mounted sensor. The two wire external remote sensor can be located up to 4,000 feet away and uses a 4–20 mA signal.
