Triatek Venturi Valve Options

1. Aluminum or Stainless Steel - While the typical venturi valve is made of aluminum, stainless steel is usually the material of choice for those situations in which highly corrosive or dangerous particulates exist within the air stream.

2. Heresite - Identifiable by its brown coloring, Heresite is a phenolic coating which is applied post production to address potential corrosion problems which may occur later. Generally speaking Heresite coatings provide the best corrosion resistance to the widest range of corrosives. Click here for a chart showing what elements Heresite is resistant to.

3. Kynar® - PVDF is often referred to by its trade name, Kynar®. It was designed primarily for applications requiring excellent chemical resistance, high levels of purity, and superior mechanical properties. PVDF is often used as a lining or protective barrier in chemical industry applications. Click here to see what items Kynar is resistant to.

4. Electric or Pneumatic Actuators - While most applications will use electric actuators due to their rapid response and high torque, pneumatic actuators are sometimes required when running electical wiring is not practical or in situations when a slight spark could be hazardous.

5. Sound Attenuation (Insulation) - Specified whenever a customer wishes to ensure that the valves and not only not seen, but not heard, sound attenuation is a good option and is available for all Triatek Venturi Valves.

6. Horizontal or Vertical - While not necessarily an option, customers should specify as to how the venturi valve will be situated in the duct work as vertically mounted venturi valves are calibrated slightly differently prior to shipping to the customer.
